About Me

Ever since I read Roald Dahl’s Matilda when I was six-years-old, there’s only one thing I’ve ever wanted to be: a writer. Armed with a BA degree in History from St Xavier’s College Mumbai and a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication from Xavier Institute of Communications, I set out to pursue my dream, my words first appearing in the pages of the now-defunct TimeOut Mumbai. I later honed my skills writing (and occasionally copy-editing) features on arts, culture, books, travel, food, design and more for half a decade at Verve. I’ve also written for AirAsia India’s in-flight magazine, Travel 360°, and assisted in the production of a coffee-table book on JRD Tata for the airline. You can explore more of my work at my online portfolio here.

Now a full-time mom, and part-time freelance writer-editor, I’m looking for assignments that cater to my interests in travel, arts & culture, and essay-writing. When I’m not at my work desk, I spend my time entertaining and being entertained by my toddler, reading, laughing at reels on Instagram, and dreaming of my name on the cover of a book.

Social media stalkers can find me on Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
